Worm gears – Busck

Worm gears from Busck are simple types of gearboxes where the input shaft is a screw in steel which runs on a wheel in bronze. A worm gear is always made as an angle gear – the output shaft is in 90° angle to the input shaft. The ratio is normally from 1:5 to 1:100. Two gearboxes can be connected together to a double worm gearbox, in that case the ratio can become very high.

Theese worm gears are mounted with B14 flange, if nothing else is informed.
